Week 10: The Ultimate Experience

There's always that one house in a neighborhood that no one wants to go to because it is creepy or the people in the house are really mean and threaten you when you bother them. The shack on the hill was that house. Everyone was warned about the shack on the hill. The legend of the shack was always told on Halloween to remind the villagers of the dangers that shack casts upon the village.

THE LEGEND OF THE SHACK ON THE HILL:
Long ago, when the village of Humansville was first built, a witch would lure the towns children into her house on the hill by putting up signs for free candy. When the child would knock at her door, the door creaked open to a house of pure darkness. Once the child walked in, the door slammed shut and you would hear one scream and the child was never seen again.

My friends and I love spooky thrills. we decided to make out way to Humansville to trick or treat. All of us were dressed up as Marvel superheroes. I was Superman. On the Humansville attraction website, the legend of the house on the hill was clearly displayed. There was a warning in big print and it read: DO NOT APPROACH THE HOUSE ON THE HILL. SAVE GRIEVE AND TERROR FOR EVERYBODY.
When we finally made it to the house on the hill, everyone dared me to go up to the house on the hill and ask for candy. I took the dare and walked the long wooden stairs to the top of the hill. i made it to the porch and i could hear my own heartbeat. i looked back at my friends to see they were video taping my adventure to the house on the hill. i thought, "at least people will know what happened to me when i disappear and they might be able to save me".... i knocked on the old wooden door...... it creaked open.... and all i saw was darkness..... i stepped inside.... and the door slammed behind me! there was a silhouette in the corner. it appeared to be an old woman in a rocking chair. she said "come here child and i shall give you the trick of your life!" I stood frozen in front of the door. i wanted to open the door and run back to my friends.... but before i could try to turn the knob, she said "Don't even try to leave, you cant. not yet. come sit." she lit a candle and i could barely see her withered face. i didn't sit. i wasn't even close to being comforted by this woman to sit. "i shall give you the life of the one you wear." She started to swirl a big green tornado and she started cackling. she threw the tornado at me and i saw only green wind rushing around me. it disappeared and i was flying over Humansville! I WAS SUPERMAN!!! well Superwoman. i could hear the cries of 3 people in her basement. i crashed into her house and ripped open the basement door. i saved two men and one woman. they were in bad shape... then i took a hold of the witch and tossed her into the sky. To this day, no one has seen her ever again. now the house on the hill is a historical attraction. and my powers never went away (;
